Welcome to the Knot & Purl Events Calendar! Here, you’ll find a vibrant lineup of instructor-led workshops, open craft hours, and special events designed to inspire creativity and bring our community together.
Event Types include:
- Instructor-Led Workshops: Join our talented instructors for hands-on workshops that cover a variety of crafts, including painting, mosaics, arm knitting, macramé, and more! Each session is designed to cater to different skill levels, so everyone from beginners to advanced crafters can immerse themselves in a creative experience.
- Open Craft Hours: Looking for a relaxed environment to work on your projects? Our open craft hours provide a welcoming space for you to bring your current projects and enjoy some creative company. Grab a cup of coffee, unleash your creativity, and connect with fellow craft enthusiasts!
- Special Events: Throughout the year, we host special events that celebrate creativity and community, including themed craft nights, holiday festivities, and family-friendly gatherings. Be sure to check the calendar regularly to see what’s coming up! (See filters below)
Discounts Available: We offer discounted rates for our Golden Years attendees (65+), so keep an eye out for those rates in the event descriptions to take advantage of these savings!
Please note that future workshops may occasionally be canceled at short notice due to private parties or unforeseen circumstances. We will make every effort to notify you immediately and reschedule your session. If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a full refund. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding!

- Holiday (workshops with a holiday theme)
- Recurring (workshops that are scheduled frequently on a regular basis)
- Private Party (studio is booked for a party, it will either indicate if the studio is OPEN or CLOSED during the private party)
- Family Friendly (workshops with crafts geared more to munchkins (4-7 yrs) and/or (8-12 yrs) and/or (13+ yrs))
- BYOB Encouraged (workshops more suited for adults)
- All Crafts (all crafts are included)
- Painting Crafts (crafts that involve painting with acrylic, tempera, chalk and stain on wood, canvas, rock, and tile)
- Paper Crafts (crafts that are typically made from paper or cardboard, like decoupage, card making, crayon, marker, chalk, etc.)
- Glass Crafts (crafts like mosaics, terrariums, melted crayon or painting on glass)
- Yarn / String Crafts (crafts made from string or yarn like string art, macrame, chunky blankets, pillows, etc.)
