Knot & Purl began as a personal act of reinvention—and a return to what brings real joy.
After years in the corporate world, I found myself going through the motions—unfulfilled, disconnected, and unsure what came next. I’d spent my career collecting degrees and titles, moving across cities and countries, always in motion, always performing. But at some point, I realized I wasn’t creating anything that truly filled me up.
So I did something bold: I started over.
Crafting had always been my happy place—scrapbooking, painting, crocheting, stained glass, whatever I could get my hands on. It was my way to slow down, to focus, and to recharge. So I built Knot & Purl as a space to do exactly that—not just for me, but for anyone longing to unplug and make something with their hands.
Rooted in the community I’ve come to love my neighbors and fellow businesses so Knot & Purl is more than a studio. It’s a creative haven where people of all ages come together to play, to learn, to celebrate, and to connect—without screens, pressure, or perfection.
