At Knot & Purl, we love creativity and crafting! We offer a variety of fun and engaging craft classes for everyone. Our crafting workshops inspire and engage crafters of all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artisan, you’ll find a welcoming space to explore your creativity and connect with others. Crafting workshops for all skill levels are sure to make you discover something exciting at our crafting workshops!

While we’d love to offer workshops for all ages, we’ve decided to restrict participation of workshops to those aged 8 years and older. This age requirement ensures that participants are comfortable using scissors, light hammering or wood burning tools, handling glass, and more, allowing them to fully engage in the creative experiences our classes provide.

For younger siblings, we can offer simple crafts like crayons, chalk, and tempera paint to keep them occupied while their older siblings participate in the workshop. Exceptions can be made, so please feel free to contact us to discuss any specific needs.

• Yarn Art: Explore the versatility of yarn through crochet, arm and hand knitting, and loom knitting. Discover your preferred method of creating cozy projects, from blankets to accessories, in a friendly atmosphere.
• Melted Crayon Art: Unleash your creativity by melting crayons to form vibrant, abstract art on canvas. This fun workshop allows you to experiment with textures and colors while creating eye-catching pieces.

• Terrariums: Create your own miniature garden in a glass vessel with our terrarium workshop. Learn about plant selection, arrangement, and care while crafting a unique piece of living décor.

At Knot & Purl, our workshops are designed to be engaging and enjoyable experiences led by a skilled instructor who guides you through each step of the creative process. Lasting between 2 to 3 hours, these workshops vary depending on the craft, ensuring you have ample time to learn and express your creativity. All necessary supplies are included, allowing you to leave with a beautifully finished product that you can proudly showcase or gift. Each workshop has a different cost, so we encourage you to visit our calendar for specific details on pricing and schedules. Not sure what craft to dive into or looking to explore new creative avenues? Our Open Craft Hours are the perfect solution for you!

For a set fee, you can come into the studio and experiment with a variety of supplies to discover the craft that truly inspires you. Enjoy the freedom to create for as long as you like, using the materials available in our studio.

Studio Fees (unlimited studio time):

• $30 – munchkins (4-7 yrs), please note that there is potential exposure to hazards in the studio (glass, wax melters, etc.)
• $35 – children (8-12 yrs)
• $40 – teen/adults (13+ yrs)
• $35 – Golden Years (65+ yrs)

Please note that while crafting supplies are included, there is a optional premium upgrade of $30 per project for specialty materials such as wood planks, large canvases, terrariums, candle jars, glass frames, and more. This all-inclusive price covers all necessary materials, and we’ll clearly communicate any additional costs beforehand, so you’ll know your total investment.

The Calendar will indicate dedicated Crafting Hours or Days in which you can reserve your spot ahead of time or simply walk in and see if there is a workshop in progress. If there is no workshop scheduled, the studio can be used for open craft hours, so contact us if the inspiration hits you!

We have space for up to 24 crafters at a time, so be aware that if we reach capacity, you may be turned away. While there’s no formal instruction during these hours, our friendly staff is more than happy to offer tips and tricks to help you craft your masterpiece!
