Slimy valentines, ones created using the Japanese 𝙏𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙞-𝙯𝙤𝙢é method of pounding flowers with stones, valentines that we silk screen ourselves, ones that look like stained glass, and ones where kids create an entire Valentine’s World that they pack up and carry away in a Polly Pocket-ish suitcase—and that’s just for starters.

The sky’s the limit as Newton’s crafty studios and creative businesses open their doors and invite the community in to roll up our sleeves and make our own Valentine gifts, cards, and toys on February 8th.
