Mini Loops & Lollipops – Knitting for Kids

Give your kids a chance to unplug, create, and build confidence while learning a timeless skill!

This workshop is led by Ava Gode-von Aesch, who learned to knit at the age of seven from her grandmother and later taught herself crochet. With years of experience teaching kids through her roles as a camp counselor and party host, Ava knows how to make learning fun, approachable, and engaging. She has a deep love for the art (and math!) of fiber crafts and the calm focus they bring to our busy modern lives, and she’s passionate about sharing that love with her students.

What to Expect:

• Free Drop-In Knitting Help Hour:
  Kids can bring their projects or questions for Ava and get hands-on guidance in a welcoming, supportive space.
• Beginner Knitting Workshop – $35:
  Stay for a full, step-by-step guided session where kids will learn the basics of knitting and begin their first project.
  • Sample yarn and loaner needles provided.
  • Ava will give personalized recommendations on the best supplies to continue at home.
