DESCRIPTION:Highlands Village Day:  Sunday\, June 8\, 2025\, 11AM-4 PM!  \nJoin us for the 48th Annual Newton Highlands Village Day. \nThere will be no open crafting during the day when the festival is going on. \nEvents and Activities\n\n\nPony Rides (free in the Hyde Playground)\nBouncy Houses (free in the Brookline Bank Fun Zone)\nFace Painting (free)\nCaricature Drawing (free) 11:00-3:00 \nTouch-a-Truck\, near Hyde Center\n\nMusic\nMusic schedule is underway\, stay tuned. \nFood\nThese local restaurants will have food available in outdoor street booths: \n\nThe Grape Leaf\nLincoln Kitchen\nAnna’s Taqueria\nPlus local and regional food merchants\n\nArts & Craft Vendors\nA variety of vendor booths will line Lincoln St from Walnut St to Bowdoin St. \nParking & Public Transportation\n\nPlease park on local side streets around the Highlands:  Bowdoin\, Chester\, Columbus\, Hillside\, Forest\, Mountfort\, Erie\, and Hartford Streets.\nPlease pay attention to street signs because in many cases parking may be allowed only on one side of the street.\nParking is also available on the south side of Lincoln Street (closest to Route 9).\nRunners will be running on the north side of Lincoln Street around 10AM\, so we discourage parking there until after 11AM.\nHighlands Village Day is conveniently accessible to the MBTA Newton Highlands stop on the Riverside (“D”) branch of the Green Line. Exit toward Walnut Street and walk two blocks down Lincoln Street.\nMBTA bus #59 stops at the corner of Walnut and Lincoln Streets\, at the east end of the festival.
